new glasses

i have some new glasses! they are not subtle.

battlefield earth

after poking me nose around in some neglected pop culture corners - this one, jaws 4, moonraker, superman 4 and such like - i've come to the conclusion that there are very few bad films. people are just watching them in the wrong mood or with the wrong expectations.
jaws 4 in particular is brilliant and there's nowt much wrong with battlefield earth.
